This burgers are so different and yet SO mouth watering! No one would think to do up a burger patty with cumin and cinnamon, but man are they good! **NOTE: Be sure you like dishes with the cumin, almost a curry flavor, because it's definitely noticeable in this dish!!**
What You Need (This is for 4 pattys):
1lb of 80-90% lean ground beef (any leaner and they won't hold up)
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
wax paper
CLEAN HANDS!!!
What To Do:
**Important! Rip 5 (five) pieces of wax paper now! Wide enough to hold a basic 1/4 lb burger patty**
Dump the ground beef into a medium mixing bowl.
Add all the spices and mix THOROUGHLY! You don't want someone getting a bite of pure cumin!
Roll the meat into a ball and place back into the bowl.
Create a "plus sign" to divide the meat up into four sections. Each piece will be one patty.
Take a piece, mold into a patty, and place onto a piece of wax paper.
Place another piece of wax paper on top of the patty.
Continue doing this until all of the pattys are complete.
Put onto a plate and place them in the freezer for about 10 minutes so they firm up.
You can freeze these bad boys for later or grill or cook on a skillet and top with your favorite burger toppings! Lettuce, Tomato, mayo, ketchup, mustard, cheese, you name it! We liked ours so much we didn't even eat them with buns! Enjoy!
